Injection Therapies **Coming Soon!**
We offer various injection therapies to treat nutrient deficiencies, pain, and injuries.
Regenerative injections are a well-studied and effective therapy for pain.
Often if you go to your medical doctor for joint pain, they recommend anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen, Aleve, etc), cortisone injections, and perhaps even surgery. Regenerative injection therapies are a powerful alternative to medications and surgery.
What is the difference between cortisone and regenerative injections?
Cortisone is a steroid that effectively masks pain. However, the pain relief is temporary, and studies have shown that cortisone contributes to further degeneration of cartilage in joints over time. Cortisone injections are helpful for pain, but they are not a long-term solution for pain. People will often need to get multiple cortisone injections until their joint is degenerated enough to require surgery.
What is in a regenerative injection?
Regenerative injections use natural substances and anesthetics like dextrose, lidocaine or procaine, vitamin B12, or ozone. Dextrose is a sugar solution that stimulates an immune response in the area and starts tissue remodeling. It creates some local inflammation to allow your immune cells to get to the area and build new connective tissue. Lidocaine or procaine is used to help ease the pain during the injection and provides more benefit. In chronic pain or recurrent injuries, nerves can become over-sensitized so they continue to fire pain signals when the joint is not being injured. Injecting anesthetic temporarily shuts down nerves in the area and allows them to reset. Ozone may be used in addition to the injection solution for further benefits. Ozone is effective in reducing inflammation, reducing pain, stimulating growth of cartilage and ligaments, and more.
What can regenerative injections treat?
Regenerative injections are a wonderful treatment for arthritis, tears in tendons and ligaments, stiffness, weak ligaments, tendonitis, muscle trigger points, and more.
How many injections will I need?
The number of treatments necessary to heal an area depends on multiple factors such as: age, how long the area has been an issue, health status, and previous injuries. We can normally expect to need between 2-6 injection treatments over time. Each person responds differently and we monitor your progress after each injection. A strong foundation for health is essential in healing painful tissues. It is always recommended to maintain a healthy diet, exercise, and musculoskeletal care such as chiropractic to get you the maximum benefits of injections.
Are Regenerative Injections covered by insurance?
Unfortunately, these injections are not covered by insurance, as they are not the standard of care. The cost of each injection treatment varies between $150-350

We offer injections of Vitamin B12, B Complex, and Vitamin D in the office. B vitamins are vital for energy, metabolism, mood and sleep. Many people eating a poor diet, under high stress, or taking acid blocker medications are often low in B vitamins and can benefit greatly from injections.
Vitamin D is essential for immune health, bone health, mood, and hormone balance. Almost everyone in the Pacific Northwest is low in Vitamin D unless they are supplementing. An injection is an efficient way to increase Vitamin D levels.
